Euskirchen – Rhein-Erft-Kreis II is one of the 299 single member constituencies (German: ''Wahlkreis'') used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. It is one of sixty four electoral districts in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The constituency elects one representative under the mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 92, having been designated 58 from 1980 to 2002 and 93 from 2002 to 2013. It consists the county of Euskirchen and, from the county of Rhein-Erft-Kreis, the municipalities of Erftstadt, Brühl and Wesseling.〔(Constituency boundaries ), bundeswahlleiter.de, accessed 30 August 2015〕 The constituency has existed, with unchanged boundaries, since the 1980 election, when it largely replaced Erftkreis II. It was called ''Euskirchen – Erftkreis II'' until the 2013 election, when the name was changed to reflect the renaming of the county of Erftkreis to Rhein-Erft-Kreis in November 2003. All elections since its creation have been won by the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The current representative is Detlef Seif, who was first elected at the 2009 election.〔(Nicht zwei Ostdeutsche an der Spitze ), Kölnische Rundschau, 8 June 2010〕 ==2013 election==
